FC Lions support Washington Spirit – Get lots of facetime on TV!

Congratulations to the FC Lions U13 Girls soccer team for their hard work and support of the Washington Spirit Women’s Soccer team for their one and only 2016 home playoff game on Friday, Sept 30 at the Maryland Soccerplex. The game was broadcast nationally on Fox Sports (FS1) and all the FC Lions girls got plenty of time on TV!!
It was a very exciting game (in spite of the weather) and the Spirit went on to beat the Chicago Red Stars in overtime to advance to the NWSL Championship Game. The Washington Spirit will next face the WNY Flash in Houston, Texas on Sunday, October 9 at 5pm ET for the Championship…GO SPIRIT!
As you will see in the video, the FC Lions girls were very active and very helpful throughout the game…well done girls!! Now you need to cheer the Spirit on to beat the Flash!
